Terms of sale and use

The service

You upload a photo of a room and choose a style and a budget. The site picks real products on sale at third-party shops, within that budget, then produces an image of your room furnished with them, with the shopping list (price, shop, link).

Cocooning Studio does not sell furniture: you buy from the shop, on its terms.

Free preview

One free preview per browser: low-definition render with a watermark, the list total and two pieces in detail, subject to technical per-IP limits.

Offers and prices

“This room” ($4.90): unlocks one room — high-definition image without watermark, full list with links, PDF, share page, 3D view, and two re-renders after edits.

“Home” ($14.90): 5 credits, each unlocking one room on the same terms. Credits do not expire.

“Pro” ($29 a month or $249 a year): 40 unlocked rooms a month, edits and re-renders included in that quota, client PDF under the subscriber's chosen name with no Cocooning mark. Unused quota does not roll over.

Prices in US dollars, paid by card via Stripe. No account to create: access is tied to the e-mail given at payment.

A credit or quota room is only used when a render is delivered. A render refused by our quality check is never charged.

Pro subscription

The subscription renews automatically each period (month or year). Cancel any time, in two clicks, from your space (Stripe portal): it ends at the end of the period already paid, at no cost.

Withdrawal

The service is digital content supplied immediately after payment. Before paying, you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge losing your right of withdrawal, by ticking the dedicated box.

If a technical problem prevents delivery, write to contact@cocooningstudio.com: we restore access or refund.

What the render is, and is not

The render is an illustration: proportions, colours and materials can differ from the real product, and small decor items may be added for the photo. Every visible piece of furniture is on the list.

Always check dimensions, price and availability on the shop's page before buying.

Furniture prices and availability

Prices are read from the shops and re-checked when the list is composed. They may change afterwards: the shop's price at the time you buy from it prevails.

Your photo

You must have the right to use the photo you upload. Do not upload photos showing people.

Liability, disputes

We are not responsible for products sold by shops, nor their sale, delivery or return terms.
