Your photo and renders

The photo you upload is used to produce the render. Its EXIF metadata (including GPS position) is removed on the way in.

The cleaned photo, the render (preview and high definition) and the shopping list are kept for 30 days so you can reopen and edit the room, then deleted automatically. They are reachable only through a random, unguessable address and never indexed.

A room is public only if you switch on its share page yourself; you can make it private again at any time.

Your e-mail address

It is asked only when you buy, or when you choose to keep a room by e-mail. It is used to send your access, the purchase confirmation and the room link (performance of the contract).

Tips and offers (three e-mails at most after a preview, plus one reminder if a payment is interrupted) are sent only if you tick the dedicated box, unticked by default (consent). Every message has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Account and purchase data are kept for the relationship, then 3 years for marketing; accounting records, 10 years (legal obligation).

Cookies and analytics

Strictly necessary cookies, no consent needed: “gs_session” (keeps you signed in, 30 days) and “free_used” (remembers the free preview was used, 1 year). Stripe's embedded payment may set its own anti-fraud cookies at payment time.

Analytics: kipstats.com, a KIPDEV SAS tool, loads only after you agree in the banner (“Accept”). Your choice is kept for 6 months in the “cnst_choice” cookie set by Orbe, our consent tool, which keeps a timestamped proof. Change your mind any time with “Manage cookies” at the bottom of each page.

No advertising or social-media tracker is present on the site.

Processors

Render and room analysis: OpenRouter (USA) routes the photo and output image, for the time of processing, to Google (Gemini), with Anthropic (Claude) as fallback. These providers state they do not train on API data.

Payment: Stripe (Ireland / USA). We never see your card details.

E-mail: Resend (USA), through KIPDEV's sending gateway.

Hosting: the host named in the legal notice. Consent: Orbe (KIPDEV SAS).

Transfers outside the EU rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, depending on the provider.

Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability: write to contact@cocooningstudio.com. For a room, include its address.

You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (France) or your local authority.
